Stomach Exercises To Eliminate Belly Fat

Stomach Exercises To Eliminate Belly Fat

Stomach Exercises To Eliminate Belly Fat – Your time and money are very important to you, and fitness is important as well. Health club memberships can be high priced. The modern DVD’s could cost you a lot of money. Getting into an exercise class could possibly be expensive and not to mention hard to get into most of the time. The solution is to find fitness exercise for less. You may be surprised at how much money you can save and still stay fit.
Now that spring seems to finally be back in our lives, many people are concerned about losing those few extra pounds of chub which stand between them and a sculpted midriff. Those folks who let themselves go a little in the winter months may be working overtime now that it is April and thoughts of bikinis are dancing in their heads. The excellent news is that there are, of course, stomach exercises to speed along the process. Some are better than others, including these few, which are good specifically for trimming belly fat. As with every workout routine, ensure that you do consult a professional before beginning and always warm up properly to avoid injury.

Hip Lift
For this stomach exercise, you will want to lie on your back on a flat surface, such as the floor. Use a mat or towel to cushion your spine. Put your arms at your sides with palms facing up to the ceiling. Put your legs straight up in the air so that the soles of your feet are facing the ceiling and your legs make about a ninety degree angle with your torso. Keep your knees unbent and as straight as possible. Now, contract your ab muscles so that it feels like your belly button is being pulled toward your spine, while at the same time gently lifting your hips off the floor. Raise your hips to height of some inches, keeping your legs extended straight upward. Hold this position, then slowly lower your hips back to the floor. Repeat for an entire set.

Seated Torso Twist
Stay on the floor for this stomach exercise, getting into a seated position. Bend your knees so that your feet are flat on the floor. Position your feet about hip width apart. Extend your arms straight out in front of you, interlocking your fingers. Contract your abdominals and lean back about forty-five degrees. Holding the contraction, rotate your torso as far to one side as you are comfortably able. Use your abdominals to control this motion so that your upper body moves at once, do not lead with your arms. Remember to keep your arms in from of you with fingers locked– pretend you are aiming an imaginary gun. Once you have rotated as far as you feel comfortable, rotate back to center, then to the other side.

E Readers Comparisons 2011 Buying Guide

E Readers Comparisons 2011 Buying Guide

E Readers Comparisons 2011 Buying Guide2011 Market
The e-reader market has become very crowded indeed, some would even say oversaturated. At a cursory glance I count at least 16 competing brands–and that’s excluding most national (in place of international) developers outside the States and the United Kingdom! This leaves us, consumers, with a huge range of choices: hundreds of different e-readers to select from, each with its own feature set, advantages, disadvantages and price point.
To sum up, the current market share is roughly divided between three types of e-reading products:
1. E-Ink E-readers (Kindle, Nook, Kobo Reader, Sony Reader) – single-purpose dedicated devices that allow you to read books and nothing but.
2. Color LCD E-readers (Nook Color, Pandigital Novel) – straddle the line between pure e-readers and tablets.
3. Tablets (iPads, Android tablets, HP TouchPad, Blackberry Playbook) – not “proper” e-readers as such but, a result of wide availability of apps like B&N Nook, Amazon Kindle and Kobo (along with a huge range of third-party reading apps not associated with corporations), tablets with their similar form factors serve more than sufficiently as e-readers and depending on your needs and preferences, can outstrip e-readers.
I will summarize the feature sets of each type, as well as pit specific devices against each other as a basis for this buying guide.Compare and Contrast
Let’s take a gander at what makes each type tick and the main differentiation factors that distinguish each category of device from each other.
E-Ink E-readers
These are the purebred of the lot: they exist for one purpose, and one only–to enable you to read. E-ink’s claim to fame is that, out of all current display technologies, it’s the closest to “real” paper. No glare, no reflection, visible under strong sunlight. When you are off to a tropical holiday and are an avid reader, e-ink is going to look very attractive. Moreover, the battery life is well nigh forever. The Amazon Kindle, for one, can go on a very long time between charges.
The downside is that… well, these readers can’t do anything else: the Kindle is so severely unsuited to rendering images that you’ll get only the grainiest, most low-resolution results, which means it and products like it are a no-go if you wish to read cookbooks, academic texts, magazines, comics or anything else that’s heavy with illustrations or graphs. A result of lack of touch input, using their software and interface is often quite a trial compared to devices where you can flick, swipe, and gently tap your way through book collections and settings. Because e-ink has no backlighting, it means you’ll have to rely on other lights to read your novels, which can be irritating, and clipping on a small light adds to the hassle.
Color E-readers
Unlike e-ink readers, these use plain old LCD technology for display, which is to say it’s not much different from reading off your computer, so if you suffer from eye-strain, this is firmly out of the race. However, if you wish to read magazines, graphic novels, or anything image-heavy these should be a strong consideration. Negatives: shorter battery life than e-ink, more glare and reflection, potential for eye strain.
Tablets
The full shebang, like netbooks without keyboards. They do everything and e-reading is only one of them. Generally they run on LCD panels, use touchscreens, and have internals much more powerful than that of e-readers: at the time of writing dual-core tablets are already commonplace and by the end of 2011 quad-core ones will be entering the market. This is the perfect option for individuals who want convergence: a single mobile computing device that combines everything from media playback including streaming from HBO and Netflix, browsing, gaming, and social networking.Which is Best For You?
Barnes and Nobles’ Nook Color stands out among others in that, even though it falls into the second category (color e-reader with touchscreen), it can easily be reconfigured into the third: a fully functional Android tablet. Google up “rooting Nook Color” and you will be on your way to having an Android tablet that does everything you would expect – running Angry Birds and all – As well as letting you read ebooks, all for the low, low price of $190.
However, you should still consider your needs and preferences: a dedicated reader who wants the ebook experience without distraction will be best served with an e-ink reader. When you are worried about DRM (Digital Rights Management) on your books preventing you from transferring ebooks freely across your devices, skip the Kindle and go for the Kobo Reader or the (non-color) Nook. If you’re sold on the Amazon ecosystem, then the Kindle is an obvious choice: though be warned that the keyboard it comes with is notoriously bad, which might swing your decision back to the Nook Touch (still e-ink, but with touch input).
Regardless of your chosen device, the e-reading market is an exciting one to watch as technology progresses at breakneck speed.
